Simplified Notifications UI

Our commitment has always been to create a product that takes a back seat, allowing you to build automations that run efficiently and independently. Yet, we understand that there are moments where your direct input is essential to keep things moving smoothly.

With this in mind, we've revisited and simplified the notifications UI. The revamped interface is designed to facilitate easy configuration, letting you set up and manage your notifications without the fuss.

Custom Notification Frequency

Why get bogged down with incessant notifications when you can choose when to receive them? Tailor your notification frequency to suit your work rhythm. Set up the system to notify you at intervals that work best for you, helping you prioritize issues that need your immediate attention while setting aside less pressing matters for a later time.

Multichannel Notifications

To bring a more personalized notification experience, Introist now offers notifications through two channels — as a Slack message or an email digest. Choose the one that integrates best with your daily workflow, ensuring that you receive updates in a manner most convenient for you.

User-Centric Design

As always, this update is carved from feedback and suggestions from users like you. We’ve retained all the essential features while trimming away the complexities, offering a cleaner, user-friendly notification setup process.

Folders

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we've been encouraging companies to build and customize workflows for a myriad of use cases: onboarding, offboarding, relocation, performance reviews, and more. These workflows not only save time but also ensure consistency and precision in routine and critical processes.

However, with adaptability comes complexity. As more workflows were added, our main workflow list view started feeling the strain. Despite effective filtering and the option to star key workflows, navigating through the list became an increasingly cumbersome task, especially for those intricate scenarios involving smaller linked workflows.

To address this challenge, we've introduced a Folder Structure feature.

Use Case-Specific Organization

Instead of a single overflowing list, workflows can now be neatly tucked into folders based on their use case. Whether you're looking for processes related to employee relocation or performance assessments, they're all grouped logically for easy retrieval.

Enhanced Overview

For those processes that involve multiple smaller linked workflows, having them all contained within a designated folder makes gaining an overview much simpler. You no longer have to jump around between unrelated workflows to find what you need.

Organization-Wide Consistency

The new folder structure is standardized across the organization. This is in contrast to the starred workflows feature, which is user-specific. With folders, everyone in the organization has a consistent view, ensuring alignment and reducing the chances of errors or oversights.

Emphasizing Key Workflows

While the folder structure brings organization-wide consistency, the starred workflows feature remains invaluable for individual users. It allows employees to highlight and quickly access the workflows most relevant to their role or current tasks, offering a blend of personalization and standardization.

In conclusion, while our journey began with the creation of diverse workflows, it's now evolving to make these tools as user-friendly and efficient as possible. The new folder structure is a significant step in that direction, ensuring that while we embrace complexity in our processes, we always maintain clarity in our systems.
